Because Dowd is worth more. Krebs hasn’t done anything impressive or anything to show he’s going to stick in the NHL.

He's a shutdown C with potential to score more.

I'd do it. 11th overall has zero meaning for the Sabres. Just another prospect in a long line of prospects. Obvs the hope would be to re-sign.
