Agreed. I don’t think Pinto and the late first do it for Boston. Pinto and 7 or Chychrun and the late first + a third might be what it would take.

If Ottawa's moving the 7, Boston has to add to the deal. But I think the B's want NHL ready talent. They'll ask for Pinto first, and Chychrun second, and if they can't get either, they'll shop elsewhere. With Batherson, the value's there, and he'd more than replace the inconsistent DeBrusk, but wing is not their area of need.

I agree with you, I would buy stock in Pinto but I think for Boston next year Chychrun > Pinto in terms of value.

What value are you placing on Pinto? I mean after 4 seasons, albeit he is still relatively young at 23 and will be 24 this year...where is all this value coming from? No contract right now, best year was 35 pts and minue 21 rating. Does Pinto make the Sens better or would adding a starting goalie?

You hit the nail on the head, Chychrun has more value to the Bruins than Pinto. That being said, in these threads, apparently you would think Pinto is the second coming of Gretzky and that Ullmark was Andre "red light" Racicot
