If you're not retaining on Skinner, I don't see why the Kings would retain on PLD.

Besides, I don't think the Kings do it even considering no/matching retention. Don't really need an aging winger whose production is starting to fall off already.

Easy no from the Habs. They need to bet on his potential more then any trade value unless it's just a ridiculous overpay.

The pick would have to be top ten and they wouod have to add at least a b level prospect

And/or names like Cozens, Byram (with conditions) or Kulich and Krebs or Strbak as the B Prospect

Its an easy no from all the non-Sabres teams.

I'm not even sure I get the Dach struggling part, unless you're talking about injuries. But there's no reason for Montreal to trade him right now for anything close to that little.

I'd also be pretty shocked if Guentzel signs for that little, especially with a team without recent success.

Habs pass. No reason to move Dach just yet, especially for that……and Dach hasn’t struggled in MTL. He’s actually been playing pretty well here. But he is injury prone which does lower his value

Dach has not struggled. He was injured.
Habs are not selling low. You understand that.
They are going to give him the 2C position next year. Otherwise, Habs have no other centers lol

EDIT: That's not to say your trade value isn't fair. I think it's actually fair... for his value right now. I'm just saying that the Habs are not trading him before another full season.
Cheers

one has a 8 year deal one has a 4 or 3 year deal id say the overpayment for both is about the same the kings get out of their mistake quicker

he struggled before he was injured .... his numbers weren't good .. and showed no progress over 3 years and than he got injured for a whoel year hes 22 and isn't much better than what he was at 18 .... he is a red flag . hes also just a serviceable 3rd line player at this point a 4th liner on a deep team

he was a 3rd overall pick .. 4 years later and he is not even a good 3rd liner serviceable sure a great 3rd line player could get 40+ points .... even with bums ... so why can't he oh i know cuz hes not that great

stop being a homer dach has struggled ... he is a 22 year old 3rd overall pick who is virtually the same player he was at 18 ... he just missed a whole season to ... he did struggle he was just serviceable 3rd line forward a 4th liner on a deep team .. u guys overate him ... their is reason why u got him for cheaper than a 3rd overall pick he didn't maintain his value and it has only dropped since. how is he not struggling ... a 3rd overall pick who is 22 years old and he cant even muster 35 points thats struggling with his injury its also pretty safe to assume he maybe a worse player when he comes back its not to uncommon to see in players who miss a year they usually take a step back

a 3rd overall pick whos 22 years old cant even muster 35 points is a borderline 3rd line forward ... and hes not struggling .. he just missed a whole year usually players take a step back afterr that ... he is struggling ... HE HAS STRUGGLED EVERY YEAR hes a bottom 6 forward 4 years after being drafted 3rd overall

if he wasn't struggling he wouldve been a top 6 forward by now or atleast a 40 point guy he is struggling compared to the standards of what a good 3rd overall pick is and he is a low end nhl player he can't even crack 35 points

Then your team shouldn't go get him if he is that bad. You hate the guy. Don't go trade for him.

Habs already have him on the team. I'm NOT saying he is McDavid... all I'm saying is that the Habs have enough draft picks as it stands and want to give him a shot at the 2nd line center.
That's all I'm saying. No need for an overreact.
Relax. All I'm saying is that the Habs won't do that trade. And I even mentioned that your trade value was fair.
Cheers buddy.

Dude, calm down.
Fine, he struggles.
He is struggling.
Habs still don't want draft picks for him; they want to give him a shot. That is their plan.
You can insult them all you want, scream bloody murder and write in ALL CAPS that he is struggling, hee's not getting traded to Buffalo for 2 draft picks.
That's all.
Breathe in... breathe out...

No need for insults or overreaction.
Your trade value IS FAIR. Can you read that?
But the Habs will not do that trade. That's all.
Cheers buddy.

Sounds like Buffalo shouldn't trade for him then. Kindly edit your proposal to remove it, so others can instead engage with people who form their opinions entirely from HockeyDB

You guys have a hell of a team brewing in Buffalo by the way. Once everything starts rolling and the young guys mature a bit, they'll be scary!

brazeau 26 year old career minor leaguer with one nhl stint of 29 games and 9 points ... he could become a decent 3rd line winger maybe even pot 20 goals but its unlikely hes most likely just a 4th line winger who can get like 20-30 points year ... greenway a established 3rd line winger who is also 6 foot 5 just like brazeau .... i don't see this is off the charts its a 4th round pick and a career minor leaguer who is 26 and might have a little potential and its being traded for a a nhl regular ..... it may be worth it to hold onto brazeau but are pro scous are good if they see a better fit theyll go for it idk if greenway is a good fit

hes not a great 3rd line player its been 4 years since he was drafted 3rd overall and he is still not a good 3rd line player ... how is that not struggling u slow mentally or something ... a 3rd overall pick should be a top 6 center at this point and a decent one at that

A homer? Dach’s game has actually taken a step up since he’s gotten to Montreal, his only flaw has been that he’s injured. But since getting to Montreal his game has improved. You clearly don’t watch and just look at stats and yap

And yes he hasn’t been great for a 3OA pick. But we’re not looking at that. Dach can be a good middle 6/ second line guy if he can stay healthy. We’re not looking at the fact that he was a 3oa pick. That’s literally besides the point. His game has improved since he joined the Habs. So why would we trade him when his game has improved under MSL😘?
