I can see you getting more for Pionk if Utah can't flex their money and get a better guy.

Schmidt will almost 100% take a 1st rounder to move if no retention is involved. (Monahan cost the Flames a 1st rounder to move and he made only 425K more)

Different cap situation. It's definitely taking less now than it did back then.

Last year clearing Bailey's 5mil cost NYI a 2nd and that was 950K less and somehow you not only get it for a lower pick but get a pick back? Price hasn't really changed

The Islanders trade is good. Winnipeg does none of the rest.

Duchene doesn't sign in Winnipeg.

It's gonna change dramatically with the cap raise. Also Schmidt is still a solid everyday player.

Yeah Duchene was a hopeful throw in. Realistically hoping Jets give Lambert a chance at 2C (although Vilardi played great there).
