And Laine would take a cap dump payment. 9 mil salary for a guy who was hurt last year and only got 9 points isn’t returning anything, in fact I highly expect they either eat a huge chunk of salary or they give him and a pick/ prospect way for our old friend Considerations, Future. Man we see that guy in trade talks a lot.

Dang I thought Ekblad might be a cap dump cuz florida will really need the salary and his point totals are low this year. I dont really watch the cats, and I saw a few acgms dump him as well so i guessed:/

Sharks should go after laine because no matter what it works out for us. If he’s hurt we get an extra spot to play Gush and we just get to tank for hagens or he’s good and our two young centers could have really good rookie years.

I agree with grabbing Laine since between him and Couture we get hopefully get a full season out of 1 to help mentor the kids both play a full season and that could be even better.

yeah but we should not be giving up assets to take a guy who cant stay healthy. We can find Vets to help who can play all 82 and make a lot less

Hell no! Taking on that kind of cap we move our old friend FC! The only way they get much of a return if 50% retention.

Yes we should be shopping for vet leaders in the 4-6M range with 1-2 yrs left on their deals. Smith, Schmidt, Lee. If we could get a RHD who can manage a PP that would be great
