That's too much for rental Ullmark.

Yzerman doesn't do offer sheets and you made it ridiculously easy for Rob Blake to match.

No need for 85 year old Perry with all the good young prospects knocking on the door like Bergy, Mazur, Kasper and Danielson.

May as well just re-sign Fischer cheap if you need a vet.

Holl will be bought out.

Johansson will be on the team because he's out of waiver options at 23 years old.

Not going to be able to offer sheet Kaliyev for 950, LA will match. They will want some for of compensation. Big haul for ullmark, worth it?

That's a lot of Ullmark, not only for 1 year remaining on his contract, but also that BOS is stuck with moving him if they want to improve, and he didn't finish the playoffs as their starter. Their depth as C is awful, along with their bottom 2 of their D, with limited cap room (they also need to resign Swayman). Ullmark is one of the few routes to get cap space. I wouldn't mind moving Veleno or Soderblom, but Wallinder starts to make it iffy, and the 1st round pick is a non-starter for me (especially with all the other pieces attached).

Will LA match Kaliyev at that price?

My assumption is Wallinder and a 2nd could secure Ullmark.

As usual if ullmark came with an extension I'd be interested but a first and Wallinder for a rental is a no.

Limited cap room? They have 23 mil in cap space without trading Ullmark. I think people are going to be surprised what Ullmark ends up going for. There’s only so many #1 goalies available and he’s one of them

while id agree thats a lot for ullmark, he'd likely only agree to waive if he thinks theres an extension in the work. Bos isnt "stuck" with moving him. they have 23M in cap and even when resigning sway and there other pieces they will have cap to add a player or 2. Saying they dont have C depth is pretty laughable. they dont have an elite C. they have about half there bottom9+ guys who arent every day player who can play 3C/4C for them whenever needed. if u want to know who can play C in there depth btw. heinen, Boqvist, Lauko, beecher, geekie, frederic. zacha, coyle and poitras are all guys who can Play C.

In this sellers market it likely Will take 1st rounder to get Ullmark. I'd use 2025 1st rounder as it's gonna be in the 20's and not as valuable. We can probably keep Wallinder but the rest sounds about right. Once prices is paid we'd have to re-sign him for about 4-5 years x7-8 mil as Cossa should take a couple of years before he is ready to be an NHL starter. Remember he has 1 year of AHL under his belt thus far and Zero NHL experience.

Ullmark went for a late 1st (BOS got their pick back), a cap dump, and a filler. Not surprised at all.
