PIT has Jarry, Blomqvist, and Ned if we want to resign him. PIT’s left side is carried by Pettersson. What makes you think we want Ullmark over him? There are two sides to trades, and this one makes no sense.

Just saw a few other Ullmark to Pitt trades on here (that I believe all included Jarry trades which would be the path to this making sense)

That definitely doesn't get Winnipeg's attention. They have zero need for LHD.

You'd need to start with a top 4 RHD or 2C with term or team control to get the conversation going for an extended Ehlers.

This trade still wouldn’t make any sense because Pettersson is a vital piece to our team.

Carlo has more trade value than Ehlers, and doubt he would waive anyway.

If Boston doesn't give Carlo++ Ehlers is going somewhere else. Even a 1 for 1 would make the Winnipeg jets noticably worse next season.
