Hawks pass on that too. Trouba will waive to go to DET. Stevie Y will still ask for an arm and a leg, but he'll go home.

Murphy can do that just fine without the flying elbows. He'll take a beating for a penalty and not fight back. He'll steamroll someone if asked. Fight anyone. Not worried about that.

His asking price is $4.5m which they can't do unless they want guys like Jack Roslovic in their top 6 again. Pretty much keep him closes their cup window 2 years earlier than it would trading him away tough decision but if the ranger truly want a cup this is the make or break move

Highly doubt Trouba gets moved anyway, Schneider has already priced himself out of new york as well I wouldn't mind seeing him moved for a 2nd, Murphy at 50% and Kurashev if hawks are willing
