Way way way too much for Necas.

I'd personally let Joshua walk at that price point. 9 million for 2 guys on the 3rd line will haunt the team.

Zadorov doesn't play the right side. Myers as RD1 is a disaster waiting to happen.

Love the Guentzel signing. Really hope Canucks can get EP40 a winger.

Dillon signing is solid too.

A question about all of the Necas for Hronek trades:

When I first saw Necas for Hronek, I thought it was perfect. Two players of very similar value. An even swap. Then it occurred to me: If VAN needs to trade Hronek cuz they can't afford to pay him 8 x 8 or similar, and CAR needs to trade Necas cuz they can't afford to pay him 8 x 8 or similar, how does trading one for the other solve any problems? Neither team can afford either player.

Sharks accept btw

And please don't sign Dillon cuz we want to. But he's from BC so you guys will land him.

From my perspective it's just cap allocation. If you're Vancouver you don't want to spend all that money on Hronek on the back end if you're already paying Hughes, and you'll still need to get a high end winger. Meanwhile if you're Carolina you may not want to pay all of Guentzel, Svechnikov, Jarvis, and Necas on the wings while still needing to address defence.

Vancouver feels better about spending that money on Necas rather than hronek
