Keep trying, that would not get Pinto yet alone Brady.

CAR is not trading a 25 Yo for a 31 Yo

This team would fail miserably so that would be fun to watch, even if these trades could work

That's a really interesting Zib trade. Carolina probably say no because he'll be 37 when that deal expires and the Canes dislike big prices for players signed into the late 30s, but I highly rate the creativity

Canes probably accept. Last couple years of that deal might be meh but need a legit 2C and he would be one of the best 2Cs in league.

I just was trying to get a third line that could be physical and one that teams would hate to play against. I always found Mantha's net front presence and Bertuzzi's in your face style of play as guys you hate to play against but love to have on your team.

I can see Bert's value.

But believe me.

If you think the Rangers stars disappeared against Florida, they're all Mark Messier's compared to Lazy Mantha.

What a waste of hockey talent he turned out to be.

He should've been a superstar.

It's more I had seen him play when it was rangers-caps, and I always felt like Mantha killed the rangers far too often. And it was more that it was clutch plays too. Just trying to construct a team that is harder to play against in the playoffs. Doesn't have to be mantha, but a mantha-esque type of player.

Dont see the appeal in Zibs. Pass.

Zibs hasnt been good the last 3 playoffs and Shesterkin is the only reason his numbers haven’t been really bad.

Why not keep Goodrow?

He shows up in the playoffs.

Mantha's more of a scoring threat than Goodrow

Not in the playoffs he isn't.

Besides Goodrow is a winner who does so many things for his team.

Mantha just floats around the perimeter playing with his mouthguard while laughing his ass off that he's made so much money playing hockey.

I know he disappeared in the cats series but he’s a PPG player last 3 playoffs and has been impactful in most series minus the most recent one. Not perfect but that narrative is overblown.

Flames Accept, but OTT doesn’t Trade Pinto, so this likely doesn’t happen
