Its a good offer and I think the value is fine. All I'm saying is its much easier to find someone like Bourque or Harley than it is Dobson.

This is a really interesting approach and I honestly don't hate it. St. Louis probably wouldn't want to take on both Pelech and Pageau's money but definitely there's a team out there that would take JGP with a sweetener. Heiskanen - Tanev and Lindell - Dobson would be a stacked Top Four.

I'm not saying Harley is better than Dobson by any means but he just put up 47 points from the blue line as a 22-year-old. Losing Dobson does sting but Lou would have to give him a big extension and I personally think Borque could become a long-term Nelson replacement as the 2C if developed correctly.

Make it Stankoven (or ideally Johnston) instead of Borque and I might do it. Harley is good, but Dobson is better and is a RD on top of that which adds to his value.

I would no doubt love those guys instead too. Might have to take out the first rounder there but Johnston is the pick between him or Stankoven
