Description
I don't know if the trades would go through but I'm fairly confident about the signings. Everything would plug the Bruins' holes, keep them around the same age and make them more mobile and better defensively. I'm interested to hear feedback and I think this would tip the bruins over the edge. I can see Carolina asking for more for Necas however. I prerfer Marino to Carlo as I explain in the trade, I believe he' an upgrade to Carlo and has less of an injury risk as well.

    Additional Details:
    Bruins send carlo and a pick to get a better defenseman in my opinion. Carlo, for being the size that he is, is still weak on the puck sometimes. When he makes a mistake it almost always ends up in the back of the net but he is still one of the better defensive dmen in the league, I just happen to prefer Marino over him.

    Devils decline…not looking to add a pick. If there was anything to be made, maybe its Ullmark for Marino.

    I wouldn't do that either. I'd much rather move futures for a goalie than create a hole in the defense group. I know we have Nemec who can handle top 4 play but Marino is a very different kind of player

    I think both teams would keep their dman but who knows.

    I was thinking about Zub, Marino, and Carlo all being very similar in terms of play and contracts

    I'm not saying I think the marino thing would go through I would just rather have him over carlo.

    I had this trade on the thought that Seamus Casey also plays the right side and New Jersey has a good pick and may end up drafting a defenseman.

    Casey probably isn't ready, and is far more similar to Nemec than Marino. They can't really afford to lose what Marino brings. Devils also probably trade the pick.
