Honestly, I suppose I could have? but this allows them flexability moving forward. If you're pushed to the cap it doesnt leave you much room to add if you need/want too.

Tbh I’d much rather see the Canes trade Necas for a forward and either re-sign Pesce or look for a cheaper option than Hronek like Roy or Tanev or someone like that. If we’re moving out a top 6 forward, I’d like another good forward back in some form.
