The trade to the Sens is completely moronic. Especially when the return is Batherson who is part of the hockey canada sexual assualt scandal and Zub who is a more expensive version of Soucy.

Reinhart has zero chance of signing for that amount of money. He's projected with both AFP and daily faceoff to be over 11 million and he's a winger not a center.

You named this right this is dreamin but more on the nightmare side.

The trade is still awful and I have read articles from the CBC where he says he's not going to comment on it and cooperating with the ongoing investigation.

Okay so I guess Makar is a rapist too because he played for team Canada during the same time!! Sens would decline that trade anyway.

Every single player on the wjc team has made the exact same statement. The players that were involved have been charged. If Batherson or any of the other players on the that were part of it then I’m sure they would’ve been named at all. He’s not part of it. Not more complicated than that.

Batherson isn’t part of the scandal. He’s a 70pt player making less than 5 mil.

Zub is one the best defensive Dmen in the league

I'm not sure I'd want the Bruins to do McAvoy/Pettersson 1 for 1, but I think they'd consider it long and hard. If they had to add AND take on an awful contract, it's pretty easily a no.

Hronek in need of a new contract, selling high on Boeser coming off a career year and Podkolzin who's been a massive disappointment for Ottawa’s best RD on a very reasonable deal and arguably the best value contract forward in the entire team.

I’d pass without thinking twice about it.

EP for McAvoy 1:1 you think about. Adding in a good prospect, a solid 2nd line guy in exchange for a dump makes it an easy no.
