LMAOOOOOOOOOO, bro you are actually a clown I can't even tears of joy Jarnkrok has a career high of 39 points, he can't even hold Bathersons jockstrap. Sens have more playoff success in the Matthews era than Toronto big guy, keep holding onto those extra 4 games a year!!

Embarrass yourself all you want, but facts are facts. Look at the numbers - they don’t lie.
Have you noticed the only time the SENs are relevant is when one of your star players inevitably asks to be moved or the Leafs visit. #farmteam

Let’s see :
richest team in league, most valuable franchise in league, first rate organization & facilities, biggest fanbase in league, 8 straight playoffs, superstar players, we outnumber sENs fans in their own barn 2-1 vs
Basically a farm team, arguably the worst organization in the league, almost bankrupt twice, biggest star wants out &
missed playoffs seven straight years, #irrelevant

Suck? That would be you guys, no 🤔 seven straight missed playoffs. And I know you know this (although you may not like to admit it) - win, lose or draw we are always relevant. Literally situated at the centre of the hockey universe. Sucks to be in our shadow I guess (outnumbered in your own barn) and it must be worse when your team sucks, especially when you thought you were going to be good. Now it’s just unfair that your star player wants out (again)

Oh yea he won't waive for Ottawa I agree but Batherson scored 30 ON a terrible team, if anything that gives him more value plus you still have to be GOOD to score 30 goals

OTT isn't really terrible but every team except five had at least one 30G scorer. Buf's Thompson had 29G in 71 games played. CBJ's Jenner had 22G in 58, Bedard 22G in 68, McCann in Seattle had 29 in 80, Zetterlund in SJ only had 24. It's really only CHI and SJ who weren't even really close since Bedard was on pace for 26, and those teams were terrible. As for Chychrun, he's always put up points in ARZ, some of those rosters were much worse than OTT. It's not really a plus if you can put up points or score on a bad team the quality of goals matters too, just look at Meier and Karlsson's production this year on more competitive teams vs last year in SJ.

Batherson would be an excellent piece for the Leafs to replace Marner in the top 6, and Chychrun would be a great add since they could utilize someone with a shot and the ability to score goals off the rush on the backend. Although, I think the only way Leafs consider this is 1) they view Chychrun more like a top 2 and 2) if they are certain he would re-sign. No reason for the Leafs to take on Hamonic though. Neither Marner or Chychrun want to move, so it could be the perfect situation where they live in each others' houses. Marner would be under a smaller spotlight which might be better for him or something that he wouldn't mind but he'll still be all over Toronto (and Ottawa) media. OTT has a young promising core, he might be able to bring a cup to Ontario even if it's not the "right team". Would probably cost 12M+ for the Sens to re-sign Marner I think.

Do I think it's a good trade for the Leafs? Value-wise it's decent but I think they would end up regretting it even if Chychrun re-signs and thrives there. For OTT, it would probably eventually pay off if not immediately. Although, they may need to find two goal scorers, one to play with Tkachuk and Stutzle and another to play with Pinto and Marner. If Norris can stay healthy, then might not really be an issue, they can probably make due with him and Giroux (for the time being). If they can't rely on them though, they won't have the cap space to really bring someone in via FA probably and they still need to forfeit a 1st rounder in the coming year.

7 seasons but 5 were rebuilding my friend. The last two I can agree are pretty embarrassing. All original 6 teams have huge fanbases, and Toronto isn't far from Ottawa so actual hockey fans of your team can afford to see hockey. 50% of your arena is all business employees who don't even like hockey, that's worse that having 60% Toronto fans at ours. Your real hockey fans can't even afford to go watch your team play tears of joy Would love to see where Brady asked to be traded though, he's in the same rumors as Marner where he hasn't asked to be traded either.

Marner (& JT) publicly stated he didn’t want to move; has Brady said the same ?

Ok even so this is a fair package for a player with 1 year left even if comes extended

Come on, a 100 point, Selke finalist for 9 seasons is worth at least 1 blue chip piece. Quality over quantity.

I think you're forgetting how Chychrun is viewed around the League. In my opinion, Chychrun is probably the most overrated good player after the Tkachuk brothers. I think Toronto would view him as a blue-chip piece, although if they don't see him as a top 2 then I don't think they would pull the trigger. He looks like he can stay healthy, the question would be will he sign long-term. I don't think there is anyway Leafs are taking on Hamonic even if they get a lesser pick than a 1st. Batherson & Chychrun would probably be considered perfect fits, it's basically the perfect recipe for the Treliving to make a boneheaded Marner to OTT trade.
