Edvinsson or Danielson sure and probably Kasper too but not Pellikka but it's doubtful if Detroit would consider trading Edvinsson or Danielson at all.

I don't think they'd hang up. It's enough to get talks started but Detroit would have to make it their own pick rather than Carolina's and either add something decent or replace Copp with a younger player/prospect.

If Carolina is willing to add Edvinson or Danielson or replace Copp with either of the two then Calgary should be fine with the 1st being Carolina's. In fact I think Calgary might even be ok with no 1st just the player + Detroit's 2nd.

Reread my post. I edited it but in a nutshell I meant (Edvinsson or Danielsson or maybe Kasper) + a 1st. While editing I decided 27th OA would probably do too.

Without a Top-10 Overall Pick or Top Prospect like one of the names you mentioned, Conroy would not be interested in the Trade as it is proposed.

Conroy should also target a player like Veleno, Rasmussen or something decent that can help us sooner than a later 1st Round Pick, unless he feels he can use the Pick as a better Trade Asset
