Canes decline. Freddie had a better season than Ullmark, has a better playoff resume, and is cheaper. Both expire next summer, so term isn't an issue. Easy n in a 1 for 1 swap, forget Necas

Hawks extended Mrazek late in the season they don’t need a goalie, especially one they have to trade assets for.

Anderson played 16 games in the regular season lol he didn’t have a season to compare, Ullmark was once again very good

Freddie was a .932 goalie. Ullmark was a .915. In the playoffs, Ullmark sucked, and Freddie was... well, not great but above average making him the only one of the two above it

Hawks laugh and hang up. They'll take a 2nd and 3rd with Andersen but they aren't giving up those picks for him.

Is this a joke ? He started 16 games at .932 it doesn’t even show up in the NHL apps stats compared to .915 thru 40 Tied for 7th in the league and in his one start in the playoffs had a .912 sorry Anderson doesn’t sniff Ully take the L and move on

What... In the postseason Freddie had a 1.9 GSAx, Ullmark had a -0.5. Ullmark was worse than replacement. Freddie struggled in the Rangers series, but was EXTREMELY impressive in the Isles one. Freddie's life threatening clotting issue only let him play 16 games, but he was still better. Not to mention, in the last 3 years, he's been a + .920 goalie twice for the Canes. Ullmark's been .920+ once. Freddie is the better goalie, stop it.

The difference between Necas and Geekie was way more than Ullmark and Freddy.

Hawks were more of a placeholder team but they could definitely be interested in a goalie to replace Soderblom for a year
