This goes against the speed Allvin wants to bring in. And signing both Pesce and Carrier puts a lot Cash for years which would effect Willander coming in. Plus Carrier is probably too small for the D core they'd prefer to build.

I actually really like this.

I do think there would need to be some adds for these to work completely,

Such as, some of the signings would probably need a bit more to "get done," but 6M in cap space would be more then enough to even that out!

We'd proobbbably need to add in a Necas/Hronek swap, probably a second or third.

And not completely sure if UT does the bjugstad trade, but I do love that third line

I’d take Podkolzin instead of a pick if you don’t want him

Realistically, Podkolzin's value has dropped off heavily.

Trust me when I say this, you'd rather a pick than Podkolzin. I think we'd rather give you guys Podz than a pick, but that changes depending on how we view Podkolzin internally- I suppose.

Didn’t realize he barely played this past season, thought maybe a change of scenery would help since we desperately need cheap forwards

The only speed the canucks lose is Mikheyev, and his lack of production doesn't make up for his fast feet. Necas is extremely fast, and duclair is no slouch. Obviously losing zadarov isnt ideal, but paying a bottom pair LHD 5 million a year should be a non starter for Allvin

Blueger to Bjustad is a huge speed drop off yeah he has size and was in an offensive position with Arizona last year. And Zadorov was 3rd in Ice time in the playoffs and is loved by coaching staff I do agree 5m+ is too much but I believe for Zadorov fit is more important that straight money. I think he loves working with Foote and Gonchar and will stay for a reasonable increase for 5-8 years.
