Calgary accepts NJ's offer. They probably even add a sweetener.

For once a NJ fan proposal for a trade with Calgary that actually makes sense for Calgary. 10th OA wouldn't quite be enough for Andersson but it's close and for Calgary adding Marino would be just about ideal, good enough for Calgary to add something extra.

Not a fit here... NJ needs a left shot guy, not a right shot. They also don't need a 2-3... but would rather pay less and get a 3-4.

I didn’t even realize the shot handiness but I think we both know our defense was abysmal last year. Just need someone to cancel out Simon and Luke’s growing pains.

Yeah Simon won't have too many more growing pains... Luke definitely needs a leash post, so I see the logic

But they're better off getting a D partner with Dougie Hamilton, or just trading off Hamilton for high value... Siegenthaler, Bahl, and Hughes cannot play first pair minutes as it stands... Luke is better off in the 2nd pairing 1st PP unit... Bahl is adequate in the 3 role... Siegenthaler is a problem...
