Colorado Avalanche
Sven Andrighetto should be an RW/LW; he's played mostly LW this year.

New York Rangers
Boo Nieves should be a LW/C; he's played mostly C this year.

Dallas Stars

I believe Devin Shore plays all three forward positions. He played LW/C last season, and he's been getting a lot of RW time this season.

Rickard Rakell has played mostly RW this year, so change him to C/RW.

Hi,

Can you guys update a couple Habs players:

Andrew Shaw: Is a RW/C. Yes he can take some faceoffs. Yeah sure he gets thrown at LW if ever they need a quick fit but realistically he's a RW/C. Any time he's not at that position its just to replace someone while they are injured/benched/etc because he is a versatile player and is generally decent at faceoffs. Ever since coming to MTL he has been a RW though. His taking faceoffs comes more from MTL being bad at the dot and being so weak down the middle overall, on a better team at C, Shaw wouldn't be taking so many faceoffs. He'd never be deployed as a C for more than 2 games in a row at best.

Paul Byron: Is a RW/LW. I don't think has ever been deployed as a C. He's always been a winger. LW or RW. Maybe in junior but those days are long gone.

Jacob DeLaRose: Is a C/LW. Only time he is deployed as a LW is when he is the 13th forward and all the other centres are healthy but his natural position is center and will mainly be played there.

Vegas Golden Knights
Jon Marchessault plays all three forward positions. LW/C/RW.
Oscar Lindberg should be a C/LW (natural C but has played almost exclusively LW this year).

Change Forsberg to LW/RW. He plays both wing positions, but he no longer plays C.

Seeing how they have played Sam Bennett on the LW most of the year, maybe you could update him to being a C/LW

Thank you, and great work on the site.

Donato played LW last night and is probably going to play there for a while. I think it's safe to put LW down as a position for him as well. He also played some wing for Harvard and played LW during the Olympics.

Vancouver Canucks
Jussi Jokinen: I haven’t seen him play center and he certainly doesn’t in Vancouver. I’d put him down as just a LW, but you could do LW/RW

Darren Archibald: he plays LW not RW

Tyler Motte: doesn’t play center in Vancouver, probably better off as a LW/C

Brendan Gaunce: same as the above. Should be LW/C

St. Louis Blues
Brayden Schenn: the man plays center now. C/LW

Winnipeg Jets
Brandon Tanev: pretty sure he’s more of a winger than a center. LW/RW perhaps.

I put Tyler Johnson on the LTIR and then now when I go and take him off of there he gets put in the goalie position for some reason. Any one know how to fix it?

Something similar to this also happens with created goalies.

Scenario:
Create a goalie.
Send goalie to AHL - option to bring goalie back to NHL is not available or has to be to another position other than goalie.
OR
Then buyout said goalie in AHL. Player icon stays there and nothing happens..... (Pointless I know but an error still.)

Honestly I would simply make every player in the AGM able to be placed at any position without a positional lock. It would remove these errors and its not like it really effects any of the mechanics (that I know of) by putting a goalie at center for example. I mean realistically no one will do that and if they really wanted to, they could just create that player and put him there. So the player position locks are kind of pointless for the purposes of the AGM.

For Florida:

Denis Malgin: C/RW
Nick Bjugstad: C/RW

Both played RW for the most part of the 2nd half of the season.
