The return of Matt Duchene feels somehow more unlikely than a rebuilding team buying Mikko for 3 1sts

Also, Tanev until he’s 38 seems like a bad move.

Not when he's going UFA in 2025. I'd rather SJ just shoot for throwing a mess of cash and term at him in the offseason next and see what happens.

Thinking that Duchene is a replacement for Mikko is something plus there is almost no chance of him choosing to come back or the Avs offering him a contract; still too much bad blood there.

I don't care if it's SJ or some other team. Mikko is a 50Goal scorer and worth a bounty. My last What If everyone stated he was worth 3 1st rnders. I leave that up to the real GM. I moved Mikko cause we can't afford him.

Uh Duch is not a direct replacement. But Druoin and Duch are atleast 100 Point between them and without the $$s from Mikko I could resign them and get back Landy. It's a what if.

Yeah I was thinking 1,2,3 for Mikko but it depends on timing and if other teams out bid. Once word got out that Mikko was available it would be bidding war. I don't really care what SJ fans think about it. This is a Colorado What if.
