i think they should stay the course. you guys have a chance to do something really special, one more year of what its been for the last few years and then go out and sign some free agents. maybe get a guy or two but to try to go for the playoffs now probably wouldnt be the best for their development

Agreed. They should figure out a way to get 2 good wingers for Bedard, but besides for that stay the course and slowly build a great team.

i just think about the leafs, they went and got matthews, and acquired some players that managed to push them into the playoffs. they wouldve been way better off sticking the course for a year or two, maybe draft another good D man. and now look at them.

Really agree with that. They could even start taking some cap dumps this year with semi-developed prospects attached.

Imagine if they sucked for one more year and drafted Makar in 2017...holy.

i dont think they wouldve been a lottery team but they wouldve been around 10-13 ish in the picks.. never know what couldve happened
