idk if that avs trade goes through, just havent seen anyone make an avs trade for marner. obviously i dont expect him to be traded to the avs, thats what makes this fun:)

If the Avs were to do this, they'd basically become the Leafs (i.e., too many stars and not enough cap to surround them with proper support).

I like Marner and think he gets far too much crap, but Colorado just isn't the right team.

either way I think you should clean house and let the new coach bring in his team, What Tre should have done last year.

Also I don't think its going to be Berube. I think the Leaf's are waiting for Brind'Amour or else he should have been named already, But the Canes keep winning to stay alive

I think Marner earned the crap when he signed the big contract and the way his agent and dad talk. NO Team discount NO leeway

If he was at $9,5 everyone on this board would be talking about how good he is at both ends of the rink etc.

Been plenty of Marner to the Avs trades for what that's worth. Most (all?) have been silly one way or another. I'll say no more.

I think it would cost us around 2 x 3rds to move up. It's very situational, but I'm sure the Flames would be open to it.
