An amazing way to guarantee no first round exit is to not make the playoffs…nice.

We had a worse roster last year with atrocious goaltending for like 70% of the season and still made the playoffs pretty comfortably.

Yea, but this team needs a massive culture change if they ever want to contend. A mentality like that is why the leafs aren't going anywhere. MLSE knows they'll make the playoffs and people will still show up no matter what
