I doubt you can acquire Domi alone for Howard, not including a 2nd round pick and Luke Schenn.

You might get a second for him if you retain half of his salary, and he would have to wave his NTC.

Seriously doubt that Arizona is on Jimmy Howard's trade list, Howard at $2.65 million for 2 years might net us a 2nd rounder if we're lucky.

I think a good comparable would be Mike Smith for Calgary who was traded for a prospect Dman in Brandon Hickey (who was about 4th in Calgarys Dman depth) and conditional 3rd if Flames make the playoffs - well and Chad Johnson who Arizona had no real intention of signing - they just needed someone to expose for the Vegas Draft, he ended up with Buffalo. Arizona also had to retain just over 1.4m on the cap hit to get that package.
Detroit missed their window to trade Howard, they had some offers and turned them down wanting a 1st rd pick. So honestly you're probably looking at a couple picks - probably a little better than what Calgary gave for Smith - maybe a 2nd and a conditional 2nd if a certain amount of games are played (otherwise a 3rd ) and retain some salary on top of that. Doesn't help that Detroit has cap issue's, so teams won't be doing any favours, they'll stink bid..

Even if it was Tie Domi being traded it would still be too much for the Coyotes to give up.

You've been trying to trade Howard for years now and he is still on your team. There simple isn't going to be much of a return for him.

You aren't getting anything even remotely close for Jimmy Howard
No chance of getting Domi, or anyone of that caliber

Maybe if a playoff contending team has an injury in net, then maybe u could get a 3rd? 2nd at best, and that would only be of someone is really desperate

No chance u get 3 pieces like that
None
