Mn won’t trade Brodie. A trade like that they would want to include spurgeon, who’s analytically the better defender, and signed shorter term cause of his age and to pass the torch to Faber. But I doubt you’d want spurgeon.

McCabe and Marner have only one year left on their deals each. Brodin has four and Rossi is an RFA. It would be foolish and bad asset management to do this trade.

The Flames are unlikely to trade Weegar, so you'd have to overpay. Since we're dealing with hypotheticals, then I'd like to see Cowan instead of Robertson as a part of the package. Also, they're definitely not retaining salary for the next 7 years.

I gotta tell you Leafs fans that no one values Liljegren, Robertson, and Minten as high as you guys do, they're at best replacement level players and in the case of Minten his ceiling is middle 6 forward so not very enticing.
