CHI might take Tavares for free after his bonus is paid, but they certainly wouldn't pay anything for him.

Hawks aren't doing any favors to help Toronto out with cap. JT is not worth a $11M cap hit regardless of his bonus being paid. No team is going to want that cap hit unless there is perceived payment by Toronto in a bigger trade package and very few teams have the cap space to take on $11M for 65 points of production.
