Toronto loses that Taveras trade. Hawks decline. They aren't paying anything for JT. Leafs want that $11m in cap space? JT waives. Leafs pay him his $7m bonus on 7/1. Trade JT to Chicago on 7/2 for future considerations. Win-win?

I wonder if DB would do that if that ALL he gets offered, or if it's the best offer with picks and prospects. I like Liljegren and Robertson, like that other 1st we'd get, but is it just a bunch of quantity and not quality? I still think if it's the best I could do, and they're made up on trading TK, I'd probably lean Yes.

There are definitely win-win trades but they are rare. The Rams Lions trade for stafford is as win win as you can get
