We are going to ride the PLD train wherever it goes it seems.

Spence can’t be moved with Roy leaving and him the most likely to take a top-4 role.

Nope. The Kings can at least hide PLD on the 4th line when he's playing poorly.

When your goaltender is playing poorly, there's nowhere to hide him.

DD Clarke are your top 4. if you get the 17oa pick for Spence I assume you take it.

I gotta admit, "if you get the 17oa pick for Spence I assume you take it" is a pretty compelling argument, especially considering our 2024 dance card and the number of free-agent third-pairing RhDs suitable for immediate employment. This is a trade that could easily happen and although I would miss one of my favorite Kings, I wouldn't be surprised.

Ehhh I don't know...8.5m for 8 more years on the 4th line or 4.1m in the AHL for 3 more years...

Both are brutal and I'd assume PLD has a higher chance of a bounce-back season
