Detroit already have 8 defenders under contract for next year. He won't sign or trade for more of them unless he can trade at least one.

We take this all day. Carlo would be a long term solution for us. We make whatever room we need with buyouts or trades.

It never happens though, he is way too valuable to the Bruins.

Uhh yeah. This trade is never being offered to Detroit and if it was, Yzerman would gladly do whatever needed to be done to get Holl/Petry the **** off the team to make it work lol.
