I understand the idea with Faulk, but if that’s the return I’m waiting another year and running the same d core out there.

Krug on the other hand I’m all ears since we can conceivably replace him and what he brings for a much lower amount.

We’re also going to have quite a bit of cap flexibility this offseason and it sounds like we aren’t going to be too aggressive in the UFA market

We won’t be good next year and attendance will suck, this is a lot of money spent on a bad team and not giving Thrun Embersom Gushchin and Bordeleau a solid chance seems asinine

I love the defense but good Lord, that forward corps...

This wouldn't be the way to go about things if you're Grier and want to start turning things around. I'd rather play the young guys and see what we have in them if we're okay with being terrible again.

In fairness to Sheng and Keegan they problably wouldn't recommend making all of their suggested off season moves, just some of them. I think their consensus adds were DeMelo and Joshua. They also wanted to trade for Yanni Gourde, who Sheng views as a cap dump but from what I've read, Seattle was turning down offers for him at the TDL.

We should play the young guys but also make them earn it and not set them up for failure. Seemed like Thrun might have been rushed into the NHL last season.

Agree but that should mean he should be ready this upcoming one

Benning isn't an improvement over anything TB has already and Cooper loves Mikey Eyssimont easy no.

Pageau played well enough down the stretch and in the playoffs that he does not have negative value. He has low value (like a 4th), but there's no reason to pay someone to take him.
