Ekblad gets so much more remember what the Sabres got for Ristolainen? That price x2, Amadio is a very good depth player he will get at least 2.5 million dollars.

Ristolainen got Hagg, a 1st, and a future 2nd... That's not that much more if at all. Depends how you value Hagg vs. Jokiharju. Factor in Ekblad's injury history, the fact that he's 28 where Ristolainen was 26, and making more money on a cap strapped team... I think you're being hyperbolic. That said, sure I'd up my offer a bit from where it is.

If Amadio is gonna cost that much then I'm out. Not paying that kinda money for a 4th liner. There's other good value depth out there at my price point.

They got the 14th overall pick that’s a lot more valuable than two mid 2nd rd picks and Jokiharju.

They had no idea where that pick would be when it was traded in July. They were thought of as a playoff team that next season.
