The most LA would probably give for Marner is Dubois + Kaliyev + Matt Roy's signing rights or something like that. Marner has no term and would have full control of where he wants to go, they aren't going to give up their future 1RD/ a valuable ELC or Fiala + for Marner let alone both. Retaining Marner would also cost them a ton cap-wise, which could limit them going forward in terms of improving/signing their young rising stars.
