MacK, Makar, Mikko, Toews, Nichushkin, Mittlestadt. That’s the 6 untouchables right now on COL roster. And get real you think a pick THREE drafts away a 2nd rounder and an AHLer gets you a 2c yeah not even close. And for what it’s worth Mittlestadt is a lot better 2C than Compfer. Love JT, but if your team is rolling him as your 3C Swiss Army knife is perfect. But needless to say COL never does that.

COL just gave up Byram for Mittlestadt. Why would they trade him now?

Yeah but Holl's buyout is $1.33M x 4. So it's not worth giving up a 3rd even if we are getting back 5th.

Add this year's first and the Avs are still declining that as Mitts (like him or not) is the Avs 2C, the hole they gave up Byram to fill. Unless there's a 2C coming back or has been acquired elsewhere then Mitts is off the table.
