He's staying in the KHL another year. He signed the 1 year extension with his KHL team on Tuesday. Which the Wild's front office is perfectly fine with. They even encouraged him to do so, although their preference was for him to come over.

That said. This is for next year. So, given his extension, him not being here is understandable.

Ah. Hadn’t seen the KHL extension. Figured he would have been ahead of Heidt on org depth chart.

i doubt heidt is ready next year for 2c duty. He just seems like a worse version of rossi too. (im still high on rossi).

Why is rossi’s price a late first and a middle of the lineup player? If that’s the case I can see us matching that, esp if we don’t land the first pick

I had a very difficult time finding anything (realistic) from Boston’s roster or prospect pool I wanted anything to do with. This was just the parameters of a trade.
