Possibly a condition that one of the 2nds could become a 1st if Seattle reaches the WCF in 2025 or 2026.
Even without that, this trade isn't unreasonable.

I don't feel like a condition requiring Seattle to reach the WCF in the next 2 years adds much value to a trade. We're talking about a team that finished sub-500 this year. I know they went on a run to game 7 of the 2nd round last year and anything can happen, but I feel like this season was a bit of regression to the mean and the likelihood that they reach the WCF is very slim.

Regardless, I don't see the initial offer as being unfair to San Jose. They would get 2nd rounders and the contract keeps them above the floor when they're not likely to sign many FAs, even if they get the #1 pick.
