That’s a reasonable trade, but i don’t think the Sabres even consider it
I don’t think we wanna give out the huge contract he’s gonna demand

The Canucks aren’t moving Pettersson, especially for that little. Fans need to stop overreacting to a small stretch of bad offensive play while he’s playing through an injury

We don’t want anyone to take him. He’s still an elite 1C despite his recent offensive struggles. There’s just a very loud minority of fans that don’t like Pettersson for whatever reason, even though he was our best player last year and was still great this year. He’s struggling right now but playing through an injury and still playing great defensively

Yeah, he’s super good
Just don’t think the Sabres will want to add any player at that Cap hit

That’s not even close to enough for EP, Cozens has never even broke 70 points there’s an enormous difference between the two players that is much larger than a 3rd and a decent prospect. If that’s all it costed to get EP the Flyers could and would easily outbid since they desperately need a player like him

Hawks aren't paying anything for Mikheyev. Both sides have agreed it takes a 2nd to move him to Chicago. That train has left the station.

I'm in. I like cozens, but ep is on another level. Plus I don't think Thompson or cozens are strong defensively, which ep excels at. Again, I like cozens, but this is a very easy yes.
