Habs don't need LHD. Or a goalie that is 2nd-3rd string. Trade proposals are full of Harris and Primeau, don't need extra ones. Even IF it means to turn down trading Gallaghers bad contract.

Good point on the goalies, MTL is deep in the crease in terms of prospects. As for Kulak he can be flipped for value to another team. Edmonton needs to clear out some cap to fit Gallagher in this scenario.

I think habs happily accept this deal, provided they could flip Kulak (or Edmonton finds another suitor).

I would also be happy with a 3rd string goalie, Fowler can stay in NCAA another year, Rodrigue and Primeau fight for the backup job.
