You have no goaltending, no picks and a mediocre at best prospect pool, here you get a starting goalie who while isn’t perfect is twice the goaltender any three of yours are, a defensive prospect who would be at the top of your system, a former second rounder with great hands and speed who just won an NCAA championship and a first round pick, all in exchange for a guy who is gonna get bullied out of the rink when Boston eliminates you, and is also a rental.

I mean, not sure the Pens should do this anyway. Their issue this year was spotty goaltending, poor defense, and a top heavy offense. Not sure spending another 10+ on a forward is going to help them into the playoffs.
