I like Domi, but that "line" won't make it out of week #1. Go Look at other top teams third line. This line will cost goals or get penalties which will lead to goals against.

Lots of "IFs", but the fact is Domi and Robertson are of small size to be on the 3rd line. With this lineup you make the playoffs and get bounces again. You have no leadership that won. You want a guy to protect Marner, get Maroon. As bad that Maroon is, he gets the lines fired up, AND he defends his teammates. He is slow but will battle in front of the net.

Marron has been a complete non factor just liek Reaves no thank you .

I am telling you the team you have above WILL fail. The 3rd line will fall apart playing other 3rd lines. You are removing Marner which plays about 20-22mins per game down to 3rd line minutes, replacing him with Drouin. I honestly would have preferred you putting Drouin on the 3rd line, because if you would watch hockey you would know that they played together in Montreal.

Kovacevic is always a guy being traded for on here lol from A BUNCH of different team fan bases... It's starting to make me think MTL should be able to get a serious overpay if he were realistically available lol

I guess it makes sense. Kovacevic is on a dirt-cheap contract, has solid analytics on a poor defensive team, is 6'5'' playing an "in-demand" position (RD), and can fight if needed. There's a lot to like. Perhaps this is all the more reason to keep him.
