What do you define as soft?

      They don’t throw hits?

      There’s actually a simpler way.

If a team is proposing one of their players for Brady Tkachuk to get tougher , then it means ottawa is getting softer

Brady’s value is not all in points. Brady would be one of the most in demand players in the league if he was on the market. I would maybe consider Pettersson as the only guy but he’s soft so idk .

0 chance I’d ever move him for any of the others. I wouldn’t take Bratt over Brady no matter how many more pts he gets

Brady may not be a soft player, but what has his "hardness" really accomplished for the Sens?
With free agency, no team can guarantee a player for ten years.

You're lying to yourself if you say you wouldnt trade Brady 1 for 1 for a guy like Power or Petey

The Sens need to fix defence and goaltending . Offence has been very good the last 2 years and not an issue even with the lack of bottom 6 depth

I wouldn’t . Not a fan of Power at all.

I’d consider Pettersson but the extra 4 mill and added softness/injury concerns would make me say no

Very few teams would be dumb enough to turn down acquiring Pettersson for Brady. Maybe Ottawa is one of those teams, but the Canucks aren’t dumb enough to offer it unless Ottawa is adding significantly

and people thought Canucks fans were biased with how they felt abt Petey trades. Brady isnt the player Petey is and if you genuinley think hes more valuable I'd like whatever you're smoking

You simply don’t trade a Tkachuk unless it’s an overpay.

Pettersson straight up would be a massive overpay. Tkachuk is great but Sens fans make it seem like he’s some elite superstar when in reality he’s a good but not elite 1st liner

if you dont want to trade him, you have the rights to not accept those trades.

however if you want to trade brady to upgrade the roster, dont go out there and post ridiculous offers (not saying you are doing that, but i have seens some bad stuff from sens fans).

The team around him sucks. Put him on another team and he’s a 40+ goals 90+ pts elite power forward easy with average defensive play.

He brings a lot more than pts. It’s not as simple as oh I’d trade him easy for someone who will bring 10-20pts more than him.

Those 10-20 pts aren’t worth all the things you’d lose

Pettersson is a 90+ point elite 2 way C who puts up 100+ hits. He’d be a top 2 player in Sens franchise history. He’s a franchise player, unlike Brady who cries when players score on an empty net and can’t sniff the playoffs

If you don’t like soft players go trade Stutzle for Josh Anderson then. Enjoy missing the playoffs again

Brady wouldnt even be the second best forward on the Canucks MIller clears him easily, we'll enjoy our "soft" players as long as Sens fans enjoy never making the playoffs and saying being "offseason winners"
