Pick #34 for one year of Palmieri? Yep, that would be nice for the Isles. But sadly for the Isles, the Hawks obviously decline.

We need Brisson to be on the big league club at his salary. Not saying it’s not a fair trade and that we couldn’t use Nelson, but the control of Brisson for the next 4 years is more important imo

Or the Hawks just keep all 3 of their 2nd round picks and sign a free agent instead. Hawks would not spend a 2nd for one year of Palmieri.
