Overall, don’t hate the targets.

Just not sure if Leafs would want to pay gustavsson 3.75 for a two years. He wasn’t that great this season. And Woll can probably be a 1Bfor now, then this year just need a bit of a stop gap before Hildiby and Artur A (long last name can’t spell). Something like an Anthony Stolarz, would be nice, depending on how much he makes from how good he was this season in Florida.

i'm sure he'd thrive in a market away from the toronto media, although LA is a big market regardless. He'd most likely re sign with you guys, plus a byfield-marner duo would go crazy

Marner this season had 85 points in 69 games, on pace for 101 points. A career year. Only missed games due to injury, wouldn’t really say struggled

LA cant afford marner with everything they need to do to fill out their defense and bottom six, and Resign Spence and Byfield

Kings aren't doing that.

*Now, if you wanna talk PLD for Marner, whomever is replacing Rob Blake should pick up the phone.

Would you say he's been consistent all season and you have no issues with his playoff play for a player being paid $11M?

Either way, Kempe has been a model player for LA and putting up 40 goals last season, 75 points this season and one of the Kings strongest playoff performers.

LA needs to reup Byfield and sign two goaltenders, they don't have this type of disposable cap space.

Chicago has too many bottom six guys. They had Kampf in the past and let him walk as a RFA. No reason to trade assets to re-acquire him to fill a non-existent need.

. . . at a minimum. There's also the issue of either re-signing Jordan Spence or else replacing Matt Roy, and perhaps re-upping Viktor Arvidsson or otherwise adding a forward to perhaps make Pierre-Luc DuBois a productive member of society.

my point is that he'd thrive away from the toronto market, would probably do even better playing for you guys in the playoffs. Either way you got a point, but stranger things have happened

At $11M and one year remaining, he dictates where he goes if he will sign an extension that's how you will get max value for him.
