Don’t see Holl waiving for SJ and even with the 2nd attached sharks likely not interested as they need to rebuild the D not add replacement level
    Players signed for multiple years.

Perron will get 3 million a year from someone , he’s still an effective player

Calgary trading for Fabbri isn't at all realistic. He doesn't fit the Flames plans at all. A left shot bottom 6 winger is the very last thing Calgary needs even more of.

I'd rather just buy Holl out than give up a 2nd to dump him.

I get where you're coming from but for a team fully in a rebuild, getting a 2nd round pick for nothing is a great thing. It's one thing I wish stevie did more of during the wings rebuild. San jose will need to hit the cap floor and fill roster spots and getting a second to do both of those things is a good thing in my opinion. I also do see Holl waiving for SJ cuz I think he wants to play hockey which he isn't doing in Detroit and will get to do in SJ.

I get that but also keeps him on the books for much longers. I'd rather just do away with his contract now

I genuinely don't think I'm that far off of Maata's value. He's a steady defensive defenceman whos very realiable in most situations. Pairs really well with an offensive defenceman.

Ya Calgary might've been a bad trade partner lol, I was more so just trying to show the type of trade I wanted to do for Fabbri.

I agree he's still an effective player but he's slow as hell and is only getting slower. He also says he doesn't see a reason to go anywhere else other than detroit so maybe he'll take a team friendly.
