I don't think giving away Maatta or Fabbri will be as easy as people think it will be. Holl and a 2nd someone bites on I hope. Perron is getting more, I like Toffoli but 6 years is too long. Veleno has non tendered rfa written all over him.

Veleno needs to go to a team with good development EDM would be a good fit for him but I feel like if he plays for a young team he could become 2nd line center on many teams.

I wasn’t sure on the exact money or term for him. 6.2 seemed fair. We can probably cut it to 4 years though. I just figured at 3 years younger than Kane, if you’re giving him 3 years then 6 for Tyler seems right.

Veleno showed 0 signs that he can be a #2. If he did he wouldn’t be a non-tender risk. He’s going to be a bottom 6 speed guy for most of his career. A poor man’s Andrew Cogliano.
