I swear people never pay attention to the prospect pools. Becky is top 10 in our pool, and probably in line for full main status next year. Kampf can rot in Coralville if he comes here.

It's hardly even that.

I'd be hard pressed to cough up the the 3rd for Kampf. There's no cance we'd ADD a prospect, let alone one like Beckman.

Honestly I'd be more upset about the 3rd round pick and taking on $2.4m for a 4th liner for another few years over Beckman, who more and more to me just doesn't look like a guy who is a NHL player. Idk.. maybe he needs to go somewhere else to get a fresh start but he hasn't done anything to stand out really.

But yeah.. $2.4m for a 4C? We don't need one of those, we already have a Gaudreau at home. wink

One thing is true. As much as I advocate that we can sell and come out with a pick or better pick, if Treliving was able to get that for Kampf. Then yea this would be a signature off-season move.

As well as trading Jarnkrok to Vegas when they will be salary cap strained after hertl trade, resigning Hanifin and resigning marchessault to a deal when they will need to be tight with their money.

Come to think about with those moves, Treliving should be able to convince Montour for a much lower deal as he would be a genius for the above trades.

The value for Jarnkrok I feel is on par but not with Vegas. As for Kampf at best he gets us 6th rounder. If a fourth or a fifth, we would need to add a six seventh round pick which would then be an upgraded pick.
