I think PHI might take the trade but Bergevin would not IOT save face. It would make him look bad since he got a long and lucrative contract to Shaw and just got Schlemko. But in general I like your lineup because you're making every line capable of scoring goals and all the Def pairs have offensive potential. Markov would have to make his mind if he wants to play another year in Mtl, because Bergevin is probably planning a few possible trades IOT come up with a ''without Markov lineup''.

I dont see bergevin being able to do a steal or even a fair trade. Perhaps the canes could be an other suitable dance partner, but they are alsmost done rebuilding and seems to value (rightly so) there talanted dman really highly.

Chicago-buffalo-edmonton who are on bergevin speed dial dont have the needed dman, nor the need for some of the piece we have to offer.

ELEATE, you should check out videos of Jakub Jerabek. He was 5th in the KHL last year for pts, he moves around a lot during powerplay. I have not see a game from him, just YouTube best of, so it is hard to know how he is defensively and how bad he will be on giveaway. Redmond is the other offensive dman whos' NHL ready and he is a right dman and we know Beaulieu was better then him. Bergevin gave a AHL contract to Taormina who was the most offensive dman last year in the AHL but has had little success in the NHL. I hope Jerabek proves to be better then Beaulieu and Emelin.

I don't think the Armchair GM proposing this trade is being realistic to think that Philadelphia is willing to trade S. Gotisbecheres who is a young rising star, potential No.1 offensive scoring defenseman and franchise player for the package being proposed by Montreal. Ron Hextall will be out of a job if he accepts this proposed trade.

The Flyers would want a quality piece back such as Drouin who is similar age.
