Trades made draft day

Roslovic signed, good 2 way C can provide depth scoring
Shaw and Chisolm get a little security
Mermis, shaw and Beckman are extras but get regular time, Lambos gets occasional call up
Some cap left for flexibility/Roslovic contract(since my numbers likely aren't accurate)
Beckman Possible trade bait???

Tons of assets in '26 to make moves for when the money is clear and hopefully are going all in contending. Stock up on draft prospects in this years draft.

Why would MTL taking a cap dump in the hope he bounces back ? They don’t need bodies and aren’t competing
MTL decline for those reasons

Chisholm is a 7th defenseman on his best days. Solid waiver wire/depth pickup, but nowhere near worth this much! Shaw…love his story and want him in this organization, but he is also a 12th/13th forward on his best days. Add to that his injury history…and (unfortunately) he isn’t worth a dime over league minimum.
