I'll take it! Give him some NHL experience. Probably Rockford next year.

I'm into it! It's always fun seeing a brand new baby boy play some NHL games.

Curious to see if Hawks try moving him back to C or if they leave him at LW. Would like to see him play w/ Dickinson (C) and Blackwell (RW).

In an interview way back, Mark Eaton seemed to think Slaggert has some possible top 6 power forward upside. Sometimes these mid and late round draft picks end up having what it takes to contribute in that kind of role. I don't see it with him. But, it would be a welcome development. haha

Just give the kid some ice time and see what happens, I'd like to see Reichel get another shot eventually as well.

I'll be happy if he's simply a better bottom 6 option than Katchouk, Reese J, Entwistle and Anderson.

I think Reichel is in Rockford for the rest of the season. He's at nearly a point per game (all assists) and they're making a push for the playoffs. No need to disrupt his resurgence right now. Let him gain more confidence and finish strong and start fresh next season imo.

They play predominantly weekend games. They'll have several windows to call him up for a taste and let him gain the desire to stay. I don't think it'll hurt too much.
