Savard isn't good and he's actually become more of an OFD than DFD, though odd that sounds. Either way, if I'm MTL - I would accept and run.

I wouldn't, trading Savard would force someone into minutes they're not ready for an possibly ruin their development, the return is fine but it's more the fact that Savard is quite important to help develop the younger players and I don't want someone to get ruined because we sold Savard when he still has another year left

Given that we supposedly had similar offers for Edmundson last year and didn't take them, eventually trading him half retained for a 3rd I don't think they're gonna give in and take the best offer just for the sake of moving him
